Dominik Duka

Dominik Jaroslav Cardinal Duka OP is a Dominican cleric, the emeritus 36th Archbishop of Prague, and Primate of the Czech Republic. He was appointed Cardinal by Pope Benedict XVI on February 18, 2012. Previously, he served as the Provincial of the Czech Province of Dominicans (1986–1998), the 24th Bishop of Hradec Králové (1998–2010), and the Apostolic Administrator of the Diocese of Litoměřice (2004–2008). He is actively involved in social and cultural life.
